Taurine and d-glucuronolactone in Energy Drinks Expressed Safe to Consumed

energy-drink European Food Safety Agency (EFSA, ANS) states that consumption of Taurine and d-glucuronolactone through the consumption of Energy drinks are usually declared safe. Taurine and d-glucuronolactone is a natural ingredient in food, and can be normally metabolized by humans. However, these materials are used in very high amount of energy drinks.

Test the risk of both materials was conducted by the EU Scientific Committee of Food (SCF) in 2003.
