The prostate is a gland in the male genital system that creates the majority of fluid that makes up the semen, the heavy fluid that contains sperm. The walnut-sized gland is placed beneath a man’s bladder and surrounds the upper part of the urethra, the tube carries urine from the bladder. The prostate is a basic place for cancer to grow in men, particularly after the age of 50.

Prostate Cancer often has no symptoms till them goes advanced, by which time the chance for cure could have been missed.  It could be proved by a blood test called PSA (prostate specific antigen), but outstanding the test’s variable accuracy, the result must be interpreted with great care, rather by a competent Prostate Specialist.

Another symptom of prostate disease should be investigated by a Prostate Specialist include:

  1. Disorder urinating and Weak or discontinued flow of urine.
  2. Frequent urination specially at nighttime.
  3. Pain or burning along urination.
  4. Blood in the urine or semen.
  5. A pain in the hips, back or pelvis that does not go forth.
  6. Painful ejaculation.
